TERMS OF SERVICE
HandmakeLucky Fursuit Custom Clothing Service Terms
1. Order Validity
Custom orders require confirmation of requirements and pricing by the customer. If communication is interrupted or the customer does not respond for a long time, the order will be deemed invalid.
2. Order Schedule and Progress
Estimated completion time depends on production capacity, order queue, and customer customization requirements. Actual delivery date may be adjusted due to uncontrollable factors (such as natural disasters, shipping delays, policy changes, etc.). Rush orders may incur additional priority fees. HandmakeLucky will respond to order progress inquiries within 24 hours during working hours and will proactively provide production updates.
3. Delay Handling
If an order is delayed due to customer changes or force majeure, the production schedule will be adjusted accordingly. Delays caused by design changes, late confirmations, or other external factors are not the responsibility of HandmakeLucky.
4. Product Display Rights
If the customer does not wish for the customized product to be publicly displayed (including but not limited to websites, social media, portfolios, etc.), please indicate this when placing the order. Without prior notice, HandmakeLucky reserves the right to use the product for brand promotion and display.
5. Refund Policy
For all refund requests of customized payments or final payments, please refer to the official HandmakeLucky refund policy.
6. Final Payment Policy
Customers must pay the balance within 30 days after the product is completed. If payment is not made on time, HandmakeLucky reserves the right to dispose of the product appropriately (including destruction or resale, etc.), and no cash refund will be given.
7. Receipt and Defect Inspection
Please check the integrity of the product upon receipt. If any defect or shipping damage is found, please follow the HandmakeLucky after-sales policy and local logistics regulations to report in time and provide corresponding evidence. Some regions are considered as default signed upon delivery, such as: Germany, the UK, France, the western United States, Canada, New Zealand, etc., where packages are placed at the doorstep or in the mailbox. In these regions, please contact us immediately if defects or damage are found upon receipt.
8. Intellectual Property and Character Use
Unauthorized character usage restriction: we only accept customization commissions. Unauthorized characters shall not be used for commercial purposes. All handcrafted services are made according to customer requirements, and we charge corresponding manual fees. Customers must ensure they do not infringe third-party characters and shall be responsible for any misuse.
9. Disclaimer for Non-Handmade Items
Some of our products are not made by our studio; we only act as purchasing agents and do not guarantee product quality. Please purchase with caution. Related product notice: free gifts with fursuit orders (fur brush, hot glue gun, sewing kit)
10. Statement on Partner Artists and Referral Services
For external artists collaborating with HandmakeLucky, we only provide referral services. Specific transaction details must be negotiated by the customer and the third party, and each party shall bear all responsibilities. HandmakeLucky does not charge any related fees and is not responsible for any disputes or liabilities arising therefrom.
HandmakeLucky Fursuit Refund Policy
1. Payment Terms
Deposit: After order confirmation, a 30% deposit of the total price is required to secure your production schedule and materials.
Mid-term Payment: For orders exceeding $1,000 USD, a mid-term payment may be required during production. The specific amount and timing will be confirmed with you when placing your order.
Final Payment: The remaining 70% balance is due once the product is completed and ready to ship. Shipment will be arranged upon receipt of the final payment.
2. Refund Policy
Before Material Purchase: If the order is cancelled before materials are purchased, your deposit will be refunded in full (100%).
After Material Purchase: If you cancel after materials have been purchased, the deposit is non-refundable, as each custom product requires procurement of special materials tailored to your needs. These materials cannot be reused or returned.
After Product Completion: As custom handmade items are highly personalized, we do not accept refund requests once the product is completed. Thank you for your understanding and trust.
3. Payment Methods & Refund Handling
Etsy Payment: If paid via Etsy, refunds will be returned minus platform fees; only the remaining amount can be refunded.
PayPal/Wise Payment: Normally, full refunds are possible (provided no material costs have been incurred; actual refundable amount may vary).
4. Order Modification Policy
Before Material Purchase: You may modify your order free of charge.
After Material Purchase: Modifications may incur an additional fee, depending on material costs and the nature of the requested changes.
5. Definition of Catastrophic Damage (Example: Fursuit Head)
For example, if the back of a fursuit head is severely deformed or suffers irreparable cracks due to logistics issues, this is considered catastrophic damage.
6. Shipping & Insurance Protection
All products are shipped with insurance. Please carefully inspect your product’s appearance and function before signing for it. If damage is found, be sure to take photos and refuse to accept the package. We will assist you in handling follow-up procedures according to local logistics and insurance policies.
For major shipping damages, you may choose compensation from the insurance company or request HandmakeLucky to remake a new product for you free of charge.
If any issues are discovered after signing, please contact us immediately with supporting evidence of the damage. Our service team will actively assist you with insurance claims to fully protect your rights.
